Danza Oscura Set Type:Score"Danza Oscura" (Dark Dance) is a work for string orchestra that is intended to evoke the feel of a seductive dance. The use of asymmetrical meter and a slightly Spanish flavor will add a sense of mystery and exoticism to a concert program. Optional percussion (castanet, vibra slap, triangle, and tambourine) further enhance the air of mystery in this very original new string orchestra work.

Written in the key of D minor

created the haunting melody of "Kalimba Lullaby" by improvising it on her kalimba
