2000s The Glenlivet 12 Year Old sherry winesColour: Light amber. Nose: Vanilla with some hot butter and oak. Tarte tatin, caramel, vanilla crme Hints of liquorice. Mouth: Some nice liquorice roots, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla crme, and yes, quite some oak and white pepper. It develops on crystallised orange zest. The finish is quite longtouches of caramel. A nice mouth, very compact and appealing; the nose was so simple.

Dufftown distillery is under the Diageo portfolio and currently operates under the name ‘ Singleton of Dufftown ‘

Then lemon pie and cinchona

burnt bread

marvellous fruit

oakier and then beautifully oily (linseed) and waxy

This is incredibly pure and has clean notes of ripe apples and cinnamon spices

and produced several styles

as well as stronger tones of coffee

fruit‑packed Spanish red made in the style of a red Auslese: Vibrant

obtained from distilled spirits and wine distillates and aged in oak containers
