(1930) JPM Massy. Card tag Mohair WhiteThe initials JPM mean Jouets Paris Massy (the factory was located in Seine and Oise, former name of Essonne). These are the letters found on the heart shaped labels that adorn the bears of this French manufacturer in the 50s and 60s. The mark probably existed as early as the 1940s, but it is not actually found in toy manufacturers' directories until 1950 and 1953. We also know that it was still present in the 70s.
