Les Forts De Latour 1998 VINTAGE WINES 1972Considered by some to be the best of the second wines. Whilst nor quite as powerful as its big brother it always exhibits similar traits. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot. 75cl bottle. Abv 13%. Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label excellent, wine level into neck.

Created in 1998 by the Mckinlay family with 20 hectare of mature vines with an average age of sixty

Cos managed to produce one of the better wines of the vintage

A vintage overshadowed in Bordeaux by 1961 and whilst 1962 doesn't quite hit those heights it was a very good vintage
