R. 'Emerald Prince' Web SpecialsRhododendron yakushimanum (degronianum) ssp. yakushimanum hybrid with very dark emerald green leaves covering the plant completly. The flowers open a dark pink, then fade to white with a blush of pink. We created this hybrid years ago, but now have decided that it is very nice and worth sharing with the plant loving community. The actual parentage has been lost, but our original plant is 5 ft wide and 4 ft tall after 20 years.
